This chair (model AP14) was designed by French designer Pierre Paulin in 1954 for A. Polak, a Dutch furniture manufacturer. The frame consists of two pieces of tubular steel, hold together by steel clips. The original seating is replaced by beautiful calf leather in one piece. The seating is attached to the frame, only on the armrests. This chair was the precursor of Paulins famous butterfly chair.
